My 2011 new year resolution: eat, work, shop, sleep and travel the globe
I have done that pretty much.
I have now quit my job and reverting myself back to Malaysia. Hopefully it won't take too long for me to adjust to the not so civilised and slower country........... LOL

stronger and challenge accepted
We are in December 2011 now already, time flies.
Gosh, another 1.5 more months and I will leave OZ after 6 years of stay here.
I have decided to make a move to go home to spend some time with family and at the same time accepting a real challenge to work for my dad's business.
I sorta know the obstable I am going to face already .......... I will be prepared and accept the challengesssss that lie ahead of me.
May I have the wisdom in everything I do.
I am making my dreams come true slowly........ someone asked me if any of my dream is coming true. LOL
1. Diving license------ YES!!! SSI I am coming, really looking forward to it. underwater world, woohoo. Sense of freedom and joy !! My last desperate dive was when I was sweet 18 lol.
I am glad my parents supported me in everything I do. They know I am unstoppable in a way when I have decided to go and do something, there you go, BANG, that's it. I am doing it, JUST DO IT. I don't hold back for things I want to do.
2. Make up class---- Getting my sister to go with me while she is in town. For my own beauty interest. Judge a girl by the internal beauty but not external :P
3. New York New York -----I am coming hopefully next yearend 2012 for a white x'mas and crazy shopping. Will have to start recruiting member and conserve cash!!!
Mommy and close friends said to me I like travelling and never changed .... YES I DO. Travelling is my passion for I just love it for being adventurous and discovering new places, things to do/eat/see.
I give myself 3 months break from today and by March 2012 I will start working smart and not hard.........
Thank God!!

My goals and dreams in life!
It is now April 2011.... time seriously flies real fast this year for goodness sake.
What am I aiming this year?
At the start of 2011, I had a mission: enjoy life, eat, work, shop and travel the globe.
I always enjoy life ........... ALWAYS!!
I spend my money to eat and shop. Just cannot understand those stingy people that are not willing to try out new things in life. Definitely not me, is just so not me...
I am a shopaholic, but being an accountant, I know how to control my spending, spend it on necessary stuff, things that I like, want and need.
Travel the globe, yes.... I am really aiming for this. My manager saw me dining in in the office on Monday and asked me, why do you eat in today?
I was like.... because I feel poor. Then he goes on, I know where all your money gone, holidays!!
and I truly and wonderfully said YES.
Travelled to Sydney for thr 6th time, went to Hunter Valley and Port Stephens during the long weeeknd for VIC labour day.
Goingt to Hobart and Launceston during Easter 2011.
Going to Gold Coast Movie World for the 3rd time in May 2011.
Really aiming for States this year. It has been 5 years since my last desperate trip to USA, which I failed in getting the travelling visa.
What do I want to do down the track?
I really aim to quit my job and go back to Malaysia for short stay. Call me stupid, foolish or whatever you want. I have my own plans and goals in life.
1st thing off from work, I will want a real long break just chill and rot and do nothing.
I enjoy mucking around not doing anything when I have the time.
Next, I want to get my PADI diving license. Always wanted it, but never have time to do it.
Already 2 in the Wong family got the diving license, I will make it to the 3rd.
Underwater world is really awesome, dived once in Pulau Payya, the memories are unforgettable.
After I have enough, I will start working for my daddy. Time to learn something from my beloved daddy before I regret and is too late.
If you ask me, do I feel reluctant to leave Melbourne? My answer is yes/no/maybe.
I want a change after all, 6 years in OZ is long enough for me to discover this nation. From being a student to unemployed and to employed................
I can always come back if I don't like it back home, for I am a PR after all .........
Alrightee.... I will apply my USA visa soon and we shall see what is the next move....
I want to go to Disneyland ............ my ever childhood dream place to go to meet my love, Mickey Mouse. Don't ask me why I like Mickey, no reason for that........ maybe I am a mouse myself after all, I am not an Ox ....... :P

The Call
Finding God's call for my life
What am I passionate about ?
I am very passionate about travelling. I just want to become a travel freak, stepping my foot step in all parts of the world. I dunno why I just like to travel, maybe it all started with my family trip to Thailand.
My passion for ice cream. Yes, I called myself ice cream lover, but I am very very picky. I only like ice cream with smooth texture, not those icy poles ice cream. I was really disappointed the 30cm Korean ice cream stall in Sydney was no longer there when I visited Sydney for the 6th time during 2011 VIC labout day weekend.
What am I good at?
I believe I have 6 sense in certain things which I really think I do. LOL........
I am good at being who I am... I do not need to fake myself out to win someone's heart......
My belief is if I have to give up my true personality to get to where I need to be, that path is not worth going .
I have very very strong personality. I might say things which will poke someone's heart, but I do not meant it. But just being yourself after all.............
I am good at making my own judgement call. I do not need to care about what other people think of me.
Just be yourself, is your life after all. You live for yourself not others!!
What breaks my heart?
The 1st time I heard the word TSUNAMI when I was in China during 2004 Christmas with my family and ex. While you were enjoying the great time spent together, how pathetic it is to have a big wave that strike and took 200,000 lifes away. All of the sudden the world's population just shrink. Maybe I have been to Phi Phi Island in Thailand and knowing how small the island is, nothing will survive when the Tsunami striked that place. SAD.
The 1st earthquake in NZ, 10 days it happend right after I left Christchurch in August 2010. I called myself to be real lucky to escape that. Having seen the Christchuch cathederal twice, it just gone and collapsed during the 2nd earthquake.
Best of all, my exes told me to open up my eyes and find some one that loves me more. I will.......... I am still searching !! I have faith in God that HE will save me the best one. Some people might think I am foolish, all I could say is everything happened for a purpose, for better or worse, you judge it yourself.
My motto: Don't know don't care.............
I choose to have world peace, appreciate life to its fullest with all my heart while I can.
I will give my best to everything I do.
Life is just too fragile. Friends' daddy just passed away from heart attack like that with no sympton given beforehand, while they were overseas. It just seriously breaks my heart to listen to this kind of news.
What is my next step to get there?
I do believe God has set a destiny for each of us. No matter where I ended up one day, I always treasure the journey I have been through in my life.
Even people can come and fail you, hurt you, is OK, time will heal and God miracle healing power is really awesome.
I always learn from my mistakes, I do, grow my self esteem and proceed further. Prasie Lord for making who I am today.
I always want YOU to show me the path and direction in my life!!
Give thanks and be grateful! :)

Melbourne
I always wonder why would I ended up in Melbourne?
Why am I still here?
I have chose to study in Melbourne after I completed my 1st year in Victoria Uni Sunway Campus.
I applied to study in UK once I finished my A-Level, first choice-Cardiff Unitversity and last choice-Heriot Watt University. But I did not go for some reason............
Thank God I ended in Melbourne. I been to Cardiff, Welsh place, found that I don't really like it there.
After completing my Accounting and Finance undergraduate degree from Melbourne Uni, I have decided to apply for my PR and stay on.
Found my first job and still working there now.....
Where is my destiny going to be? Does it mean I am going to be stuck here forever for making the decision to stay on to work here?
I really got no clue.
I miss my family back home very much, if only I could move them over here, that will be perfect. But, I don't think this is going to work, for I know my dad and mum wouldn't like it here.
I have my own goals, perhaps when I am sick and tired of here, I will leave one day.
:)

Being an accountant...........

Being an accountant, what skills do I need to possess to do my job?
1. Analytical skills- I have to analyse what is the problem when I look at the profit and loss account and balance sheet. How come those figures changed, decrease or increase. What is the cause of it?
2. Arithmatic skills- You do not need to be very good in counting to become an accountant. But you have to understand +, -, X, *. Some people just could not cope with figures at all. They don't understand why.
3. Conceptual- That's a lot of concepts behind the calculations. Why is it like that and not like that? When my manager explains to me, he will go, ok story time.......... there he goes on explaining. He likes to talk for sure ....... and often I get lost and side track from his story and forgetten what I wanted him to explain to me. He is very smart in catching me whether I understand or not, you couldn't lie from your eyes or face expressions........Like once he finished, he will stare at you do you understand? I will mmmmmmm....... half maybe not. Sometimes, he will said you don't get it. Then he goes, is ok, start again........He is very patient with me for sure. But he gets agitated when I don't let him to finish up his sentences. He always said to me I can't wait and see how your husband gets to talk one day. hahaha
Same like Ms Helen, she will go with his fingers pug, pug, pug! She is a little bit different in explaining it, she is fast. Once you catched the concept, you will get it.
4. Judgement call- With accounts, there are always some judgetment calls that you need to make. When you do not have enough information, and you are stuck for sure that there is no way of proceeding it further. Just stop and send queries out to client and ask.Otherwise, I will yelled to Con (my manager), Con I need your help. Otherwise, I will stand up from my cubical and waive to him, and he knows I needed help. Sometimes he just joke around and said you want me to talk your hands... I will say yes. I am very daring and outspoken in a way I think for not many people and cope with me sometimes. For that is the joy I am having with my team mates...... we cope along well.
5. Puzzle skills- When you start with a set of accounts, you have to start doing it from scratch based on information provided by your client. You have to put it in place. Especially when you get stuck and send queries to client, you need to put the queries in words. Once you got a reply fromt client, thats the puzzle playing time when you have to put it back to the hole/spot that you are missing.
6. Spot on- You need to be spot on with your figures and workings. You cannot be wrong in terms of concepts. Shit happens always when you send out something to clients and they come back to you and you realised far out....... how come I missed it. But, you have to accept that it is done and cannot be undone.
7.Fixing skills - You need to know how to fix things. There is this button when you do accounts that hit verify problems, next fix... it will automically tells you what is out of balance if there is any.
Then you go and dig in and find out what went wrong, and fix it. Like we have to fix shits, when sometimes is not done by you, and you complained and complained but just bear with it........ cause I am the client relationship manager after all. I have to bear the responsibilty and explain to client if they ever comes back to me why is like that. But we hate annal client who keeps biting you and not letting you go with your calculations, doubting on you once they found 1 small mistake. Yes, is never perfect, but hopefully is alright. After all, we are all humans...
Guess how those skills all shaped my personality, for I am an accountant after all!!
I love my job still for now!!
:)
Angels in my life
Have you ever paused and think for a sec that there are always angels around your life?
I have found mine.
I am very grateful.
I shared this with someone before.
I studied in Sunway College, and is now Sunway University College.
My idol, Ms Helen Khoo my accounting lecturer which is why I ended being an accountant today.
She is lovely and heart touching.
I am a teacher's pet-Yu Yi Di, Chen Ya Li, Hamidah, Mr Yong and Ms Tan (both from my A-Levels). They loved me.
One day after the accounting class ended, Ms Helen Khoo said to me Jian would you mind to stay back for a while?
And that's when she kept me in the classroom just me and her.
She paused for a sec and look me into her eyes and asked me, Jian Hui, do you believe in Christ?
I puzzled for one moment as I do not believe how can you tell and ask such a question?
And I said to her, yes I do. But, I do not go to church and I do not come from a Christian family.
She said to me would you like to accept Christ again in your life?
I said yes. That was the 3rd time I did it. I accepted Christ when I was 12 years old, and in form 3 one of the conferences in Vistana again.
She prayed together with me, holding my hands into hers. Once she finished, she told me, she can sense that angels are flying everywhere around the classroom. Although I can't exactly sense it, I knew that I am going to be saved.
She hugged me tightly and we nearly cried the both of us.
I miss you dearly Ms Helen Khoo, I will be back one day to talk to you!! Hopefully you remember me and I am sure you will!!

I am not alone
When all else fails, I have found the testimonial from God. I have accepted Christ again 4th time in my life asking Lord to be my saviour and to lead me in my life and grant me wisdom.
For I know God is real, he is mighty and he is able when I needed him the most.
I found it!!
Is real, and it gives me hope and strength again.
Just like how Hannah said to me God will cuddle me like a baby in his arms.
Yes HE does.
I have learned to be tough and strong. I always learn as I walk through each stage of life from being 16, 21, 23, 25. It hurts but I learned and I knew what I want and how to live my life.
Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord!!

Life cycle

I am trying to read my CPA, Business Strategy and Leadership Chapter 2: Framework for strategic analysis:Analysing the external environment
and this silly thought of me wanting to write something about life cycle (the actual concept is understanding the industry life cycle)
1. Start up
To start up a relationship is never an easy thing. Not everyone can take it easily if it ever ends.
To me, starting up is always nice. But to end it hurts. But is ok to let go and heal again.
But, to start up a business is never easy.
2.Growth
Time passes by and thats when the relationship grows. This is the period when the arguments kick in, disagreement.......... and it leads to control
Growth=expansion
3. Control
How you wanting the relationship to survive?
Creating some joy and fun?
Control=management
4. Maturity
When the commitment kicks in perhaps?
Maturity= To survive
Strategic management is no longer a case of simply producing to meet demand.
5.Shakeout= withdrawal?
This is gonna be hurtful, so never go there in real life, at least for relationship
6. Decline?
Dying out ?
mmmm........
At the age of 25, I am really hoping to step into a stable relationship and let it bloom, and that's what I called it LOVELY!!
Cheerio!!

Live Large, Live Loud, Live the Dream!!!
This was the message by pastor Andrew Hoys at one of the church services in January 2010 at Bridge Church.
Live Large- To me, living large is like living big, having dreams and goals in life. Talking bout myself, I do not have very large dreams.
For the time being, I would like to finish off my CPA soon and to become a qualified CPA. Blessed be the Lord, hope everyone is safe and sound & stay healthy all the time.
Though I choose to stay here, I always pray that each and everyone at home is fine.
Live Loud- Live your life to the max with no regrets!
I am quite an adventurous person up to a certain extent. I like to explore and meet different people in the world.
I enjoy travelling and being called a travel freak.
I want my life to be enriched at least while I am still young and energectic. When I reflect myself when I am old, I hope to say to myself, "yes" , I have done most of the things back then and no regrets.
Live the Dreams- I just hope to meet the Mr.Right at a right time and right spot! I never regretted my choices made, but I believe God saves the best for me. Although I do not know how things will work out eventually, at least I give in all I could and put in effort into the relationship, hoping things will turn out the way I wanted it to be.
next step.... settling down myself, I dunno which part of the world I might end up living in, but at least I would love to settle down myself after I have enough of my own freedom and soul searching.
Then I might consider to be attached and so on and so forth..
Happy New Year 2010 and God Bless!!

IF I were a boy~~~~
If i were a boy.........
No, I don't mean that.
I mean if one day I got a baby boy, I would love him to master the following skills...
1. Be able to draw, if not, at least good in colouring. I think colours are so wonderful and they make life so beautiful and perfect.... People who have passion in drawing will know how to admire art generally?
2. Play drum, guitar, piano or organ. I love and admire guys who can play music instrumuents, just dunno why. Music is part of life, it helps to reduce stress. I remember that when I used to play organ, I can just bang the rythm/music and play however loud I like, hahahah....... depending on what song you playing though, if is sentimental or classical, then is a totally different story.
3. Must be good in Mathematics.
4. Sporty, must know how to swim at least.
5. Skating, skiing, snow boarding ???
If I have baby girl.......
1. Same as the above.
2. I wonder sometimes why my mum never send me to play extreme sports like skating, etc.
3. I am very glad my parents sent me to mental arithmetic classes......... though my multiplying and dividing skills are not that good now. I believe my plus and minus skills still works well.
4. Thank you mummy for teaching me chinese caligraphy writing. I could easily write well, but do not ask me why my hand writing is just terrible. Like I care? I think as long as is readable by my boss, client and examiner most importantly........ then everything else is good enough.
Is just scary how we are aging........ time just flies without you noticing......
I think very soon we will start attending friend's wedding then will see who is the 1st one to become daddy or mummy. Hopefully, is not me.......... or else oOOOoooooo. No, it ain't me.... cause I got my mission and ambition in life~~~ My ideal age of marriage is 27-29. hahaha, will see what will happen down the road.........
No, I don't mean that.

No, it ain't me.... cause I got my mission and ambition in life~~~ My ideal age of marriage is 27-29. hahaha, will see what will happen down the road.........

looking forward, looking backward
A quote given by the pastor at church last Sunday.....
It really makes you think and reflect what you have gone through in your life so far.........
To me, looking forward, looking backward........ is a really good thing to do at times....
I like to stop thinking, sit down and reflect at what happened sometimes....
I have 3 ex........ nothing to hide........ is a fact
1st 1 was long enough to teach me what a relationship is really all about after 5 and half years. Adolescence is never an easy stage in life, and thank you for being there with me, even though I decided to call it quit at the end. It is so amazing that how we actually got together (started from MIRC and ICQ, you might call me bravo, yes I am ), taking care and learning to grow up at the same time and coping with studies.
We been through dunno how many hundreds time of fights, arguments and disagreement with parents involved a few times....
I have cried, sobbed the most in this period for being hurt.
But, I have been through many happy times as well, like my lecturer used to praise YOU for being a good bf, taking care and look after me....
my friends think YOU are so caring coz I am being picked and dropped from college for breakfast, lunch, etc. and people get jealous easily
From not being recognised by the WONG family to who you are at the end in everyone's heart is never an easy jounrney for you and me.
I am grateful and really enjoyed it as YOU really made me learned so much. From being hurt to who I am today, I have learned to be tough and strong physically and emotionally after the relationship ended. I choose to forgive you as it is just hard and silly to hate someone. The person who is hating will live unhappily as well......
2nd one,not that long, half a year perhaps....
I dunno what went wrong, things just died down after a while....
To me, there is no commitment, probably that's why. After all, till this age, now, I still believe that there is nothing yet to be committed unless you are getting married and foreseeing he/she to be your life partner. Afterall, come to think of it, how many years will you get to be together till you get married. Obviously, no one can guarantee whether it will work or not.... is just RISK .......
and how much tolerance you give yourself to bear the risk....
3rd one, 1 month plus..... I am very glad to meet you. You drive like a hoon (had a Kompressor Merz), like the 1st ex (had modified Satria and Mazda RX-7, Hyundai Sonata)...... and that's how I drive today as well....I still remember after getting my license, my parents did not come with me, the 1st round I got out to Semanbu freeway, I was driving at 140km/h with me ex behind me.... and we race each other.
I admit that I do like to drive fast, I will most probably speed like crazy if I know there is no police on road... but too bad, it never work like that here in OZ. I know my own limit, so don't you people worry. My mum and dad used to tell the 1st one, dun drive so fast ya because it only took us 2 and half hours or less to get back from Kuantan to Subang's house... and we never really bother. He is such a safe driver... for I know, is just we people driving fast, that's all.... even my elder bro does that.
It adds some joy while driving as we often travel on road..
YOU who came from a different culture.....
Different kind of charmness, careness and lovingness compared to Asian....
After writing all this, poeple might think I am a play girl???
All I could say is, I haven't found the Mr Perfect Right....
Maybe I have too high expectation for what I went through like my aunt and mummy always say.... YES I probably am, but I know GOD saves me the perfect one.....
my quote: Do I care???
Zac Tiller knows me well.... and he will answer you sausage, "probably not"!!
Maybe I will look back at this post when I am old one day, I will never regret my choice and it helps to widen up my horizons, make me a better person and enriched my life!~
I do believe children who grown up in single family do need a lot of love, shower them with love and be with them~~ that's what I found and learned with the past.
:)

Round the world trip!~
is me........... the travel freak I called myself.
I like travelling a lot and a lot..... dunno when I started to pick this up as a hobby, probably when I went on 2 rounds of road trip to Thailand..... back in 2000 and 2002 with family to Hat Yai (after the massive flood), Ao Nang, Koh Sa Mui, Phi Phi Island, James Bond Island, Phuket, .....
My journey travelled so far
1998- Gold Coast, Brissie
2000- Thailand
2002- Thailand
2003- Hong Kong/Shen Zhen
2004- China- Shang Hai, Wu Xi, Nan Jing, Su Zhou, Hang Zhou(3 Jiao Zhou)
2005- Bangkok, United Kingdom, Taiwan
2006- United Kingdom 2nd time round, Barcelona & Bali (not Paris, sadly)
2007- NIL .......... sigh
2008- Hong Kong 2nd time round, Macau, Singapore
2009- New Zealand
Heaps of places and plans in my mind...... I will fulfill my childhood dream to Disneyland, any one will be good except for the 1 in Hong Kong.
Places that I REALLY wanted to go.............
1. USA
2. JAPAN
3. FIJI
4. EGYPT
5. BEIJING
6. EUROPE, not UK though
7. KOREA... Japan rank before that
that's all for now........ I will come out with more soon~~~
Conclusion: I need to plant money tree......... or maybe become air stewardness to fulfill my dream, but I guess my ambition back in standard 3 will not be fulfilled.... :P
